The Boycott Bush International secretariat wish to inform you that several members of the network have been financially cheated by Mr. Roberto Ferdinand Lenox, a member of the Boycott Bush core group, during the World Social Forum 2005 in Brazil. He has also taken all the contacts of the people attending the seminar Boycott Bush and never sent a copy of those contacts to the secretariat or the core group.

In consequence we have removed him from the network and the core group. We strongly advise people not to work with him. He presents himself as a representative of the Brazilian NGO AECOPERMANENTE, as a member of the Brazilian Council of the World Social Forum and as a member of the Boycott Bush core group.

The organizational committee of the WSF 2005 forbid him from organizing activities in the name of the Forum. For this reason, we have strong reasons to suspect that he used a false identity to participate in the WSF 2005 under the name of Fernando Almeida, representative of a Brazilian boycott group, Boycott Bush Now!, with the email address boycottbushnow@yahoo.com.br.

The Boycott Bush International Network, the Boycott Bush Core Group and the Boycott Bush International Secretariat are not responsible for any actions of Mr. Roberto Ferdinand Lenox regarding the Boycott Bush campaign.

O secretariado da Boycott Bush International informa que vários membros da rede foram trapaceados financeiramente pelo Sr. Roberto Ferdinand Lenos, membro do grupo central do movimento Boycott Bush, durante o Fórum Social Mundial 2005 no Brasil. Ele também mantém em seu poder todos os contatos dos participantes do seminário promovido pela Boycott Bush e jamais enviou uma cópia dos mesmos para o secretariado ou para o comitê central de nossa organização.

Conseqüentemente, decidimos removê-lo de nossa rede e também, do grupo central. Assim sendo, solicitamos veementemente que nossos membros não trabalhem com ele. Ele se apresenta como representante de uma ONG brasileira que se chama AECOPERMANENTE, como membro do Conselho Brasileiro do Fórum Social Mundial e também, como membro do grupo central do Boycott Bush.

O comitê de organização do Fórum Social Mundial 2005 o pribiu de organizar atividades em nome do Fórum. Por essa razão, temos grandes motivos para suspeitar que ele utilizou de identidade falsa pra participar do Fórum 2005, sob o nome de fernando Almeida, representante do grupo pró-boicote brasileiro intitulado Boycott Bush Now!, cujo email é boycottbushnow@yahoo.com.br

A Rede Internacional de Boycott Bush o grupo central do movimento e o Secretariado da organização não se responsabilizam por nenhuma ação encabeçada pelo Sr. Roberto Ferdinand Lenox, relacionadas às camapanhas movidas pelo movimento Boycott Bush.
